Trouble?
Last night about 8 p.m., the Victoria City Police knocked on the door of our boat to ask if we'd 'seen anything.' Apparently someone set off a flare somewhere in the harbour, and they couldn't find the source.
My hubby and I are liveaboard boaters on Vancouver Island, and the ocean is our passion. This blog will reflect that lifestyle, our interests, and our day-to-day 'waterborne' and liveaboard adventures.

Pete, we're on a dock, so it's easy for people to come to the door, and knock on it. I've knocked on hulls or windows of others' boats, or just stood on the dock (or alongside in the dinghy) yelling, "Ahoy, anyone home?" or "Permission to come aboard?" No, most folks wouldn't dare step aboard without permission - except perhaps police and Coast Guard personnel, and we've never had issues with either. Thanks for taking the time to comment on my blog!
