Still sick, but on the mend...
Well, it's been almost a month since I got sick, and what a DRAG -- I hate it! I still have no energy for much of anything. We did get out for one little dinghy ride the other day when the sun came out for a few hours, and we went up the Gorge to see a sunken fish boat someone told us about. In fact, we saw the SEarch and Rescue boat go flying by here the other day, and wondered what it was up to.
Sure enough, there it was -- about a 35-footer, it looks like, sitting on the bottom just past the Bay Street Bridge, with the cabin roof a couple of feet above water. And wouldn't you know it? I forgot to take my camera! If we get out again this week, I'll remember, and post pics.

Hope your feeling better soon. I was just in Victoria for my daughter's wedding they were married in Beacon Hill Park. Your pics of the ocean are beautiful and made me homesick... Formerly from Nanaimo my hubby and I relocated to Grande Prairie, Alberta a little over 7 years ago.... I flew home from Vic on Wednesday Feburary 15th and it was -30 here the next two mornings,,,, YIKES.... I love to knit mostly socks and slippers.... Just wanted to say hi from a former Vancouver Islander...
