Back again!
Well, I just can't believe how often I say I'm going to keep this blog up -- and then I don't. LIFE just keeps getting in the way! Since I last posted, I've become a grandmother again... Gibson Michael was born to our youngest daughter Mischa on May 25th.
So I'm not just busy being a Grandma, I've also been knitting up a storm for him, of course... I made the shawl he came home from the hospital in, and I've made a sweater, some leggings and a coupls of toques, too. I'm working another sweater for him now.
There's been lots going on this summer in the harbour, too .... first of all, the Bell Blimp paid a visit to Victoria for a week or so in the spring...
Then the Swiftsure Race kicked off the season in May, in June there was the Vic-Maui race, and the Clipper race! I'll post pics of all of these events soon.
We've had a few overnight cruises not far away, and lots of 'dinghy picnics' this summer, too. We're just getting ready now to 'haul out' to do the boat bottom, and then we've got some time to cruise the Gulf Islands a bit before we come home. I'll take my camera!
